Abrumados por la situación bélica que se vivía en Europa y sin haber superado las heridas de la reciente guerra en España, el país continuaba en su afán por volver a la normalidad.

Los prolíficos Quintero, León y Quiroga continuaban fabricando éxitos sin parar; no había tonadillera de la época que se resistiera a incluir en su repertorio alguna copla del trio o de suspiros-de-espana-estrellita-castroalguno de sus miembros a dúo o por separado.

Aquel año, el tema más popular fue “La luna enamorá” que Durango, Bolaños y Villajos compusieron para Estrellita Castro y que la cantante grabó aquel año con un enorme éxito, después conoceríamos multitud de versiones entre las que destacan las de Angelillo y Los Bocheros.

Bonet de San Pedro llegará a la cima de su éxito con “Raska-yu”, el baladista nos deja uno de los discos más raros raska-yude la historia de la música contemporánea en España. Para algunos musicólogos “Raska-yu”, es el primer ejemplo de pieza pop en nuestro país muy adelantada rina-celi-1940para el año en el que fue grabada.

Rina Celi también aporta un soplo de modernidad a aquellos años en España y Raúl Abril con su Orquesta comienza a ser un asiduo en la radio con aceptables versiones de los temas de moda.

Doña Concha Piquer continua imparable añadiendo canciones a su lista de éxitos y aquel 1943 nos llega desde Cuba vía USA el eco de un artista que pasados unos años se convertirá en todo un referente mundial de los ritmos latinos, Pérez Prado.
