Apple y “La Virgen de la Macarena” en sintonía para su iPhone 7 estéreo

No es la “Macarena” de Los del Rio que fue record de permanencia en el nº 1 del Billboard americano y mega hit mundial. Es “La Virgen de la Macarena” compuesta por los mexicanos Bernardo Bautista Monterde y Antonio Ortiz Calero en 1944; una copla-bolero que pronto cayó en manos del cubano Pérez Prado que la versionó en tiempo de mambo para convertirla en éxito popular, pero que también comenzaría a sonar en los años 50” en las plazas de toros de México como pasodoble torero.la-virgen-de-la-macarena-iphone-7

En España conocimos la composición en la versión cantada por Marujita Díaz, quien la interpretó con acierto en la película «Pelusa», dirigida en 1961 por Javier Setó. En esas fechas se editaría en versión rumba-mambo por Celia Cruz y en 1962 el grupo de origen argentino Los 5 Latinos la incluyeron en su repertorio en una versión más acorde con el estilo del quinteto latino.

Les versiones instrumentales especialmente con solos de trompeta fuerón varias en los años 60″ destacando las de Maynard Ferguson, Doc Severinsen y la que provoca este articulo, la versión de  Arturo Sandoval  utilizada por la firma Apple para el lanzamiento mundial de su móvil estéreo resistente al agua IPhone 7.

En 1988, el compositor andaluz Abel Moreno estrenó en la Semana Santa sevillana de aquel año la marcha para banda llamada «Macarena», que se convertiría en una de las una de las partituras más populares de la historia interpretadas durante los desfiles procesionales. Curiosamente esa “Macarena”, se parece extraordinariamente a la de Bernardo Bautista Monterde y Antonio Ortiz Calero datada en 1944.

De noche, cuando me acuesto, le rezo a mi Virgen de la Macarena

y allí solita en mi alcoba, a mi Virgencita le cuento mis penas.
